When I was living in the Middle East I worked for a major retailer that ran and operated a lot of different internationally known stores and brands, one of them being Topshop! Of course that meant that in the two years I lived in the Middle East I did a LOT of shopping there and inevitably it became one of my favourite stores to shop at! Unfortunately, since my move to South Africa made me unable to shop there any longer, I’ve had to suffer the consequences of having some major withdrawal symptoms … A slight depression when longing for their clothes on my body could be one way of describing it! Fortunately, I no longer have to grieve! According to this article in Glamour.co.za Topshop will be opening it’s doors right here in Cape Town on July 12th!
(This is when I do my happy dance singing ‘I’m so excited! …’!)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the brand; Topshop is a major ladies’ and men’s’ high street fashion retailer from the UK and a leading style authority and trendsetter throughout the world. If you like keeping up with the latest trends and love fashion in general, you will probably like Topshop as much as I do![]()
Here is their Fall/Winter 2012-2013 fashion show to give you an idea of what they are all about:
And of course, while doing this post I found a bunch of things on their website that I already want from them!
Hope these items will be available at their pop-up-shop here! The store will be located in the Unknown Union on 24 Kloof street in Cape Town and I’ve already marked my calendar to be there as soon as the doors open!![]()
