The Autumn/Winter 2012-13 Couture Fashion Week in Paris was last week and of course there are tons of write ups on the beautiful fashion that was presented during the week. However there were also some gorgeous beauty looks created during the week that could be awesome inspiration and possibly upcoming trends! So I decided to do a round up of some of the pretty and interesting beauty looks that were seen at the shows.
My favourite look was the abundance of metallic and glittery eye shadow in cool colours like silver, mint green and icy blues, that were seen in the Channel, Giorgio Armani, Giambattista Valli, and Cristian Dior shows … They seemed to be reminiscent of a snow queen ….

Paired with the Metallic eyes at Channel, Armani, and Giambattista Valli were soft pink – almost nude lips (As you can see above). Versace, Valentino and Stephanie Rolland Couture also had models sporting variations of pretty pinks lips.

There were some pretty up-do’s happening at the shows; Ellie Saab models had a variation of the ‘milkmaid braid’ that almost looked like an upside down heart from the front … so romantic! And Giorgio Armani had gorgeous weaved buns!

An interesting and unexpected trend that was seen was all over the runways was the use of hair nets. They were used at the Valentino, Channel, Giorgio Armani, Giambattista Valli, and Jean Paul Gautier shows!

A fun burst of neon coloured makeup was seen on the models eyes and lips at the Christian Dior show, as well as on the lips of models at the Alexis Mabille Couture show in deep fuschia!

Finally, last but definitely not least; Channel has once again proven to take the cake when it comes to nails! Their models were adorned with beautiful pink layered over metallic silver nail polish in an almost reverse French manicure creating an elegant but futuristic look!
