I love Bond movies and one of the things I like the most about Bond Movies is to see the Bond Girls’ looks! In fact, seeing what the Bond Girls are wearing and how they do their hair and makeup is sometimes my favourite parts of the movies! … I saw Skyfall about two weeks ago on the opening night here in South Africa and actress Bérénice Marlohe who played the Bond Girl ‘Severine’ definitely did NOT disappoint! I was in complete ‘awe’ of how absolutely stunning she looked! … Everything from her gorgeous gown to her hair and of course … her makeup! She had an absolutely gorgeous sultry version of a ‘reverse smoky eye’ which is a huge makeup trend for 2013 and is a perfect look for holiday parties! So of course I had to try it! This is how I got the look.
I love how contouring can instantly lift your cheek bones, transform your jawline, highlight your eyes and give you a radiant glow! … When you contour correctly it can instantly transform your face without being obvious that you are wearing makeup to do so. However, I’ve seen a lot of contouring tutorials and ‘how to’s’ out there that are great for a night out but can be a little long and complicated, and thus not ideal for everyday when you only have a few minutes to rush out the door. Since, I’ve never been a fan of complicated makeup application … I like to keep things as simple as possible, I thought I would show you guys how I quickly and easily do my everyday contouring. On a daily basis I usually just use this trick which literally takes less than a minute to do, and with some mascara and lip gloss I’m good to go … looking fresh and radiant!

It’s also a perfect weekend ‘out on the town’ look being soft enough to pull off during the day and intense enough to wear at night! Since I am currently in-love with this colour, I thought I would show you guys how I wear it … keeping it simple of course! Continue reading

I absolutely love bold red lipstick and I love the new bold lip colour trends that are in this season … like the rich burgundies, and deep reds! Bold lip colours are so alluring and can take a simple day time make up look to a glamorous evening look!
